WAGO's New POWER CAGE CLAMP High-Current, Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks
WAGO's New POWER CAGE CLAMP High-Current, Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks : 50 and 95 mm2 (2/0 and 4/0 AWG) with Mounting Flanges.
Mounting on DIN-rails, or direct installation on the mounting plate: WAGO offers high-current, rail-mount terminal blocks with spring pressure connection technology for both types of installation. New additions to the portfolio, WAGO's 50 mm2 and 95mm2 (2/0 and 4/0 AWG) high-current terminal blocks as flanged versions.
Secure and Direct Installation on the Mounting Plate
WAGO's new high-current, rail-mount terminal blocks are secured using two M6 or M8 cylinder-head screws for each terminal block, along with the appropriate washers. Block-to-block connectors for the specific cross sections provide additional stability and make installation quicker and easier.
Wide Range of Variants and Accessories
The terminal blocks with mounting flanges are now available as 50 and 95 mm2 (2/0 and 4/0 AWG) versions in the colors gray (285-141 for 50 mm2 and 285-181 for 95 mm2), blue (285-144 for 50 mm2 and 285-184 for 95 mm2) and gray-yellow for functional ground (285-147 for 50mm2 and 285-187 for 95 mm2). The gray-yellow version has no electrical contact to the mounting frame. Accessories, such as jumpers, warning covers or test adapters, can be used both for DIN-rail and for flange-mounted versions.
Energy-Intensive Applications
The terminal blocks are primarily suited for energy-intensive applications, such as machine and plant engineering, or the energy sector. Furthermore, high-current terminal blocks are currently pending approval for use in hazardous areas. This would also make these terminal blocks ideal for “Ex e” enhanced safety applications.
