Incorporated in 2001, Comtel Israel is a privately owned company and a subsidiary of Comtel Electronics, a global leader in high performance Backplanes and Systems based in Munich, Germany.
Comtel Israel specializes in development Management and manufacturing of industrial/rugged computer systems, and imports, markets, and sells electronic components for the military, medical, telecom, datacom, automation & control sectors and many other applications. Comtel Israel serves a wide variety of clients: from startup companies to leading international corporations in the Hi-Tech and manufacturing industries.
Comtel Israel is composed of several departments, the first and largest of which specializes in the development and manufacturing of Backplanes and Systems for industrial computers. Comtel Electronics' in-house team of engineers designs and develops the solutions for the Israeli market, while Comtel Israel is championing the management and manufacturing of the electronic and electromechanical components, as well as leading integration projects in Israel and around the world.

Comtel Israel's Electronic Components Department is responsible for extending the solutions offered to clients and provides cutting edge electronic components to the Israeli market, including crystals, oscillators, connectors, automation & control solutions, lighting control solutions, optical solutions, and enclosures. Comtel is the local representative of some of the leading manufacturers of electric and electronic components, such as HARTING, JAUCH, WAGO, MICROPOL, APRA, INELCO.
Furthermore, Comtel Israel's dedicated automation and control department provides full technical and sales support in this space.
